Asking for places

Ask in plain words — a pharmacy open now near me, the best bakery in Kadıköy, how do I get to the station — and the reply is a place card: a map with every result and its rating drawn on the pin, and a list sorted nearest first. Each row shows a photo, the name, whether it is open, and the price band the place reports. Expand a row for two recent reviews; tap it for directions or a call.

The same card is shown in the iOS and Android apps and in the web app, and voice mode draws it when you ask during a call. It stays in the conversation when you come back later.

Location

When the app has permission, your device's position is used for near me and sorts the results by distance. It is sent to the search directly, never through the model's text. Without a position and without a place name in your question, the assistant asks where to look. You can always name a place instead of sharing your location.

Cost

Place search and place photos run on a paid map provider. A monthly allowance of searches is included; beyond it the wallet pays, and you are asked before the first paid search. Each search and each photo fetch is billed once and appears on your usage page under its own label. There is no cheaper fallback that quietly returns worse results: if the search cannot run, the card says so.

Privacy

Your position is used for the search you asked for and is not stored with the conversation. Place details shown on the card come from the map provider and are attributed to it.
