When a GPT model used a tool in chat, such as editing a canvas, it had to fill in every field of the tool, even the ones it meant to leave out, so some canvas edits failed. GPT models can now leave those fields out, as the other models already could. When an edit arrives in the wrong shape, the model is told how to correct it and can try again, and your canvas does not change until the edit is right.
