A refund really ends the subscription

A fully refunded subscription now ends immediately instead of running out a month nobody paid for, and the cancellation is also sent to the payment provider so the next charge never happens. A refund of a mid-period top-up no longer cancels the period it did not buy. The same rules apply on every payment rail, including App Store and Google Play purchases.
