Billing should never leave you guessing. This release makes two things clearer: what your invoice says you paid, and what happens when a store takes your money but your account is not credited.
Your invoice, in your currency
- The currency you paid. When you pay on the web in your own currency, the invoice now records that currency and the amount, not a US dollar figure alone.
- Both amounts in one row. On the billing page, each invoice shows what you paid, with the US dollar amount beneath it.
- The same on the PDF. The total on the invoice you download shows the amount you paid and the US dollar amount next to it.
When a store purchase gets stuck
Sometimes the App Store or Google Play takes payment for a purchase in the ToRun app, but the purchase never reaches your account. From this release:
- A support request opens for you. We open it automatically, in the language you were using, so you do not have to write to us first.
- It carries what we need. The request names the store, the product and the order, so our team can credit the purchase by hand.
- You do not pay twice. One request is opened per order, however often the app retries, and test purchases never open one.
What stays the same
Invoices paid in US dollars look exactly as before. App Store and Google Play purchases stay in US dollars on the invoice, because the stores do not send us the price you paid. Invoices issued before this release are not changed.
Where to find it
Your invoices are on the billing page of your account, and a request we open for you appears with your other support requests on the web and in the app. For answers to common questions, visit the help center, get the ToRun app, or follow every change in the changelog.
