Your ToRun Library holds the files you upload and the files ToRun makes for you: images, videos, songs, speech and documents. Every file there has its own link, and the chat, its tools and workflows can be given such a link, for example to transcribe a recording or to describe an image.
A file link opens only for its owner
When the chat, one of its tools or a workflow is given a link to a file stored on ToRun, it now checks whose Library the file is in before opening it. If the file is in your Library, it is opened as before. If it is in another account's Library, it is not opened, and nothing from it reaches the AI model.
This applies wherever ToRun reads a file from a link: transcribing a recording, describing or looking up an image, reading a document attached to a message and saving a file into a workflow's results.
Using a file someone sent you
If a colleague sends you a link to a file in their Library, ToRun does not open it for you. Ask them for the file itself, then attach or upload it in your chat. Once it is in your own Library, you can use it like any other file of yours.
Links from elsewhere on the web
A link to an image, a document or a recording published somewhere else on the web is read as before.
Sharing works as before
Sharing a chat, a canvas, a workflow result or a file from your Library still creates a page on torun.ai that anyone with the link can open without signing in. Sharing and public pages explains what each kind of share shows.
Speech length is measured from the audio
When ToRun turns text into speech, the length shown for the file in your Library used to be estimated from the length of the text. It is now measured from the audio itself. Workflows that time a slideshow to the narration use the measured length too, so the pictures follow the voice more closely.
One price formula for text answers
The chat on the home page, the AI assistant that answers a venue's visitors and several other features each worked out the cost of a text answer with their own copy of the chat's pricing formula. They now all use the chat's formula itself. We compared the two on every kind of answer these features produce and the amounts are the same, so nothing you pay changes.
