We make short films on ToRun and post them on our social channels. From this release they also have a home on our own site: ToRun Originals. Every picture, voice and piece of music in them is made with AI on ToRun, and every film page shows how it was made.
Meet PAWS
PAWS is our AI pet series. A cat who is a gentleman thief steals the portal a hamster built to reach other worlds, and a sheriff dog follows him from one world to the next. The series page has the cast, Season 1 in order, the Halloween special, the behind-the-scenes film and the trailers.
- Smokey, the grey cat in a red bow tie: a gentleman thief who never gets caught.
- Buddy, the golden sheriff: brave, loyal and easily distracted by treats.
- Pip, the hamster genius: he built the portal, and now it has been stolen.
How an episode is made
Every PAWS episode goes through the same steps, all of them on ToRun:
- Characters. Each pet gets one picture and one voice, and both stay the same in every episode, so Smokey always looks and sounds like Smokey.
- Script. Every line is written first, and each line becomes a voice clip.
- Shots. One line, one shot. The voice drives the character's lips, so each pet speaks its own lines.
- Edit. Subtitles, music and titles go on the finished episode.
Each film page lists its steps and the ToRun capabilities behind them, such as images, voice, talking characters, music and workflows.
Our other films
Not every Original is part of PAWS. The movie trailers that came before the series, a Halloween night tour of famous landmarks, and A Hundred-Year Letter, a short film in Turkish for Republic Day, each have a page with the film, its story and the steps behind it. A film plays in the language it was made in, and the page tells you when that is not your language.

Start with ToRun Originals, or go straight to PAWS and watch from the first episode. On every film page the cover shows first, and the film plays with sound when you press it. Every film page also links to a template that works the same way, such as Story to episode, so you can tell your own story and run it on ToRun. You can follow every change in the changelog.
