The gallery on torun.ai is where you see what ToRun makes before you make anything yourself. Until now a sample opened in a window on top of the gallery: you could look at it, but there was no address to send someone or to come back to later. From this release, every sample has a page of its own that you can open, share and find again.
A page for every sample
Open a sample and you are on its own page. It shows the result large, what it does, what went in (the prompt, the fields or the starting photo), the model and the approximate cost in Runs. Use this starts you from the same settings. Under it, How to make your own walks you through the steps, and More samples like this leads to related work.
The same page opens from a link, after a reload or from a search result, so a sample you liked is easy to find again.
Share it, and the link shows the sample
Every sample page has share links for X, Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, and Copy link. On a phone, sharing opens your phone's own share menu. When you paste the link into a chat or a post, its preview is the sample itself: the picture, or a frame of the video. A template page shows its own sample in the preview as soon as that sample has a picture.
In the platform, Share on a sample copies its torun.ai page, so the person you send it to can open it without signing in.
Template cards lead to the template
In the workflow catalog, on Home and in the gallery, a template card opens the template's own page again, with its sample on it. Older links to a template's sample lead there too.
Samples that read and play well
- Text samples read as formatted text, never as raw data, and cards show plain text.
- Music and voice samples play right on the template page, with their length shown.
- Template pages are shorter: the top shows a real picture or video when there is one, and each sample takes only the room it needs.
- Samples and shared runs lead with what the template finally made, not a draft or the search results it was written from.
