Since 13 October, every page of torun.ai has a small button in the corner. Open it and you can ask about ToRun in your own words: what the plans include, how a feature works, where a policy is. It is not a new product. It is the venue assistant we built for buildings, running on our own site, and putting it there was the most direct way to test what we ask our customers to trust.
What it reads
The assistant answers only from the pages of torun.ai: plans, feature pages, documentation, frequently asked questions and policies. They become its reference material when we release and are refreshed every six hours, so when a page changes, the assistant changes with it. Lines that would not age well as an answer, such as live counts or claims to be first or best, are left out. If something is not on the site, it says so instead of guessing.
It asks for no personal details. It does not load until you open it, and on a phone it steps aside rather than cover a button.
What the first day taught us
The first real questions showed two flaws. The assistant introduced itself in answers where nobody had asked who it was, and a long list could stop in the middle because answers have a length limit. We rewrote its instructions, measured the new version against the same questions, and released the correction on 14 October: it now introduces itself only when asked, and lists stay short enough to finish, with a link to the page that has the rest.
The same assistant, on any website
What runs on torun.ai is what a venue customer can now put on its own website. Under Brand settings, the customer lists the websites allowed to show its assistant, and a short script adds the floating help button. No other site can frame it. Inside a website, the assistant follows the site's light or dark theme without a white flash, greets visitors as a website helper and leaves out what only makes sense in a building, such as the fault report link. A visitor who scans a QR code on a wall still gets the building version.
On the panel, staff see each question with the answer it received and the documents that answer came from, and can tell website visitors from QR visitors.
Try it
Open any page of torun.ai and press the button in the corner. If you run a building or a website and want the same for your visitors, the venue pages explain how it works.
