PAWS Episode 3: Samurai Japan
The portal drops Buddy into Samurai Japan in full samurai armour. Smokey, now a ninja, runs off with the orb through a bamboo forest and a lantern-lit night market, and the chase ends on a red bridge: a paper fan versus a rice ball launcher.

How it was made
13 shots make up this 72-second episode, and one of them was made twice: the first take put Buddy in a European stone castle, standing like a person, so it was made again in a Japanese castle with Buddy sitting like a dog. The video model also changed one line on its own: "Konnichiwa, Sheriff" came out as "Good evening, Sheriff", so the subtitle follows what is said.
