Mistral names Mistral Large 4 as the successor of Mistral Large 3 and Mistral Medium 3.5, which it retires on 30 April 2027. ToRun's requests for these two models were being refused, so a chat set to one of them now runs on Mistral Large 4 already, instead of on that date, and is charged its price, which is higher than Large 3's and lower than Medium 3.5's. A chat set to Codestral 2 now runs on Codestral 2508, the name under which Mistral serves Codestral; requests for Codestral 2 had been failing.
