2.5 has been in both stores since the middle of August, so the two older app versions are wound down: they open on a screen that points you to the store and nothing else. Everything from here reaches 2.5 alone. That screen is deliberately built from the bare minimum so it cannot fail to appear on an old install, and it is written in all 29 languages.
