Version 2.5 went to both stores this week. It is a release about the things you do between the interesting moments: locking the app, pasting text, finding what you made yesterday, and trusting an alarm to ring.

A lock of your own

Turn on App lock and ToRun asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode before it opens. It only locks again after more than thirty seconds in the background, so stepping into another app for a moment does not ask twice. The check happens on your device and nothing about it leaves the phone.

Canvas is a screen now

Everything you have made has a screen of its own, with previews, a favourites star, All / Favourites / Shared filters and search once you have collected a few. Long-press to select several and delete them together. Sharing finally works from the phone: members-only links, public pages, and a way to stop sharing. The web caught up in the same week: the artifacts page now has the same favourites, bulk delete and sharing controls.

The flows you saved have somewhere to go back to

Saved workflows lists what you kept along with how many times each one has run, and lets you run, rename or delete them. A finished run's report downloads as Word or PDF. A run that stops partway now says how many steps completed and where their results are, instead of leaving you to guess.

Reminders that state the facts

Every scheduled reminder shows how long is left beside the time it is due, and counts down as the moment approaches. You can pick the alarm tone from five, on both platforms — on iPhone the picker used to change the stored setting without changing what you heard. Snoozing works from the Past tab too, on the alarm that has already rung.

Small things that add up

A paste button appears in the composer when the box is empty and you have text copied, and it adds to what you had already typed instead of replacing it. On Android you can share text from any other app straight into a new chat. And a long answer no longer looks abandoned mid-sentence: the app waits for the server to confirm the reply is genuinely finished.
