Every ToRun account has a personal invite link and code. From this update, an invite earns Runs: for you and for the friend you invite, once the invite is verified, and for you again when your friend makes their first payment. Here is how an invite counts, what does not count, and the other changes in this update.

How an invite earns Runs

  • Share your link or code. Open Invite friends from your profile menu, on the web or in the app, and copy your link or your code.
  • Your friend signs up. When someone opens your link, or types your code on the sign-up page, and creates a new ToRun account, it counts as your invite. An account that already existed does not.
  • The invite is verified. It counts as verified once your friend confirms their e-mail, or signs in with Google or Apple, and uses ToRun on different days in their first weeks. Then you get Runs, and your friend gets Runs as a welcome.
  • Their first payment. When your friend makes their first payment, a plan or a wallet top-up, you get more Runs once the payment has gone a set number of days without a refund.

The invite page lists how many Runs each step earns, the number of days and the monthly limit, as they stand today.

What does not count

Invites are for new people. An account that shares a device, a network or an e-mail address with you, or with another account you invited, does not count, and neither does an account you open for yourself. Only a set number of invites a month earn Runs. Runs earned from invites expire after a set time and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.

What you see

Invite friends shows how many people have signed up with your link, how many of those invites are still being checked, how many are verified and how many Runs your invites have earned. It never shows who signed up with your link.

Also in this update

  • A text Canvas or a chat shared as a page on torun.ai now draws its formulas as math, by the same rules as the ToRun app. Each formula is drawn into the page itself, so nothing extra has to load, and its notation stays in the page for search engines.
  • The venue assistant is better at recognizing the language a question is asked in, and answers in that language. When a figure or a sum is not in the venue's own information, it says so instead of guessing. Chat titles and summaries are sharper too.
  • Brand settings in the venue panel has a new Visitor limits tab. The head office sets how many questions one conversation may ask, and the venues under it use that value unless they set their own. An optional daily limit per device, off by default, stops a phone or computer that keeps asking; it uses no personal data and no IP address, and a question over the limit is refused before any AI call is made. The overview, the demand summary and the weekly report show how many visitors the daily limit stopped this month.
  • When an image or video provider refuses a request because of its content policy, you are not charged: a refused image generation or edit now costs nothing, and a refused video is refunded in full, as before. After three such refusals within an hour, image or video generation pauses for an hour and tells you how many minutes are left; a paused request is never sent to a provider, so it costs nothing either. Before you try again, change the prompt or the picture.
