Free budget refill. The free session budget refills incrementally through the day, not at a single midnight reset. Think of it as a small capacity that drains as you use it and recovers over time. You are not locked out until the next calendar day.

Wallet as automatic fallback. If you have wallet balance, it kicks in automatically the moment your free budget is exhausted. No manual confirmation required per request. You can top up at any time from the billing page.

Subscription allowance. A subscription plan adds a period-bound usage allowance on top of your wallet. The platform draws from your free budget first, then your subscription allowance, then your wallet — in that order. They do not cancel each other out; they layer.

Funding-gated features. Some premium capabilities (longer context windows, certain high-capability models, reasoning depth controls) require active funding — either wallet balance greater than zero or an active subscription allowance. They are not locked to a specific tier flag; they gate on whether you have a way to pay for them.
