What is the difference between the wallet and a subscription plan?
I have been using ToRun for a couple of weeks and I am still confused about how the billing actually works. There seem to be two separate things: a wallet and a subscription. I added some funds to my wallet during onboarding, and I also noticed there are subscription plans on the pricing page. I am not sure whether I need both, or whether one replaces the other.
A few specific things I am unclear on:
- If I have a subscription, does it fully replace the wallet, or does the wallet still matter?
- I noticed there is a free budget that refreshes during the day. Is that separate from both the wallet and a subscription?
- I have heard that some features (like using certain higher-end models or enabling reasoning) are "premium". Does accessing those require a specific subscription tier, or is it purely about whether I have funds available?
- Can I run out of subscription allowance mid-month and then fall back to my wallet, or do things just stop working?
I want to understand the full picture before I decide whether to subscribe or just top up the wallet as needed. What is the actual difference between the two, and how do they interact?
