Files you attach to a chat, such as text, PDF, Word documents and spreadsheets, were not reaching the search index, so the assistant could not look things up in them later in the conversation. They are indexed again and can be searched in that chat and across your chats. Earlier attachments are indexed automatically at no cost to you, and a file you attach twice is indexed only once.
