A canvas can now hold up to 500,000 characters, so a large app or game you build in chat can keep growing. The assistant adds to a big canvas one part at a time and reads only the parts a change touches, so a bigger canvas does not make each step cost more. On Pro and higher plans, a canvas's version history now keeps its 30 most recent versions, its first version and a few milestones.
