Signing up with Google or Apple just works

Registering through Google or Apple used to end at a "confirm your e-mail" wall, with a link mailed to the very address the provider had just vouched for — and a good number of people never came back. When the address being registered is the one the provider asserted, the account is now created already confirmed and signed in. No mail, no wall.
