Every message carried the full description and input schema of all 47 tools — around 63,000 characters, measured at about 25,000 input tokens per call before your question was even read. Only the tools the assistant has to reach for on its own now travel in full; the rest are a short index it can open when you ask for them. The unchanging part of its instructions also moved below the clock line, so providers can cache it between turns of the same conversation. Same abilities, a smaller bill for each turn.
